Blurring the lines between luxurious and affordable!
Green Construction
Since 2006, the MacQuesten Companies began incorporating sustainability and Green elements in the design/development/construction of its projects. Mid construction, MacQuesten partnered with R3 Energy Group on the Highland Senior Residence Project in Yonkers, NY. Together they applied to NYSERDA’s Multifamily Performance Program. MacQuesten incorporated a substantial number of energy efficient elements (including a co-generator) to quality as an energy efficient building. In 2011 NYSERDA designated Highland Senior Residence as an Energy Star Building. In 2010 MacQuesten redesigned the Rev. Dr. Fletcher C. Crawford to include Energy Star rated windows, appliances, and co-generation. In 2013 the companies completed Heritage Homes in the City of New Rochelle, NY. The property was built with sustainable building materials including but not limited to recycled cement board exterior, bamboo floors, energy star rated windows, energy star appliances, central air conditioning, and individual energy star domestic hot water heaters. Mother Arnetta Crawford Apartments and The Modern have been designed to achieve LEED certification standard of Silver or better. MacQuesten again raised the bar on its philosophy of building green with 22 South West in Mount Vernon, a luxurious but affordable building equipped with it’s own co-generator.
On Time and Within Budget
MacQuesten has consistently delivered high-quality real estate development projects on time & within budget.
